4 Foreword At discussions about the teaings of Ahmadiyyat it time and again becomes necessary to cite quotations from the Holy Quran as well as from various Ahadith and different books wri en by Islamic solars. However, opponents frequently tend to ignore the actual content of the quotation, demanding that the source of the very quotation be presented to them. It is next to impossible, though, that all references needed can be made available at once. Therefore, solars of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat have been making efforts to overcome this difficulty. One of su efforts was initiated by the late Maulana Ataullah Kaleem, who had served in West Africa, USA and Germany as Missionary- in-arge, and who began to collect copies of important and rare books containing essential quotations whi he wished to put together and publish, so that every preaer of Ahmadiyyat should be able to counter the allenges of the opponents on the spot. Building on the foundation laid by Maulana Ataullah Kaleem, the Jamaat Germany is now having the honour of presenting the collection in hand, whi contains original quotations along with the title of the according book and a translation into Urdu, English and German. The collection is divided into three parts: 1. Question of the death of Jesus (Isa) a. s 2. Truth of the Promised Messiah 3. Blessings of Khatm-e- Nabuwwat (Finality of Prophethood) The fact that this collection, containing more than 70 blue prints from the original books with their title page, is published in three languages should make it useful even beyond the boundaries of Germany. In the appendix, the reader will find biographical notes on those people who have been cited in the book, thus underlining their scientific and spiritual significance and, at the same time, enabling the reader verify the authenticity and importance of the according quotation.
