These objections have been sufficiently answered in this part of Bar a h i n, but since the critic has appealed to me in the name of God, I will briefly answer the gentleman’s objections, even at the cost of repeating myself. His Statement— The phrase عفت الدیار محلّھا و مقامھا [‘Temporary res- idences and permanent ones will be wiped out’] which His Holiness Mirza Sahib claims to be his revelation is a verse written by an ancient poet. The question is, has a revelation ever been vouchsafed to a Prophet which is—word for word—the same as something that has already been uttered before this Prophet by some other man? And if you are able to prove this, then the second objection would be that
