B AR Ā H Ī N-E-A H M ADIY YA — PART F IV E 230 َو ىٰۤداَن ُبٰحْصَا ِةَّنَجْلا َبٰحْصَا ِراَّنلا ْنَا ْدَق اَنْدَجَو اَم اَنَدَعَو اَنُّبَر اًّقَح ْلَهَف ْمُّتْدَجَو اَّم َدَعَو ْمُكُّبَر 1 اًّقَح١ؕ اْوُلاَق ْمَعَن And He says: 2 ْتَّبَت ۤاَدَي ْيِبَا ٍبَهَل َّو َّبَت ۤاَم ىٰنْغَا ُهْنَع ٗهُلاَم َو اَم َبَسَك And He says: 3 َو ْوَل ىٰۤرَت ْذِا اْوُفِقُو ىَلَع ِراَّنلا And He says: 4 َو ْوَل ىٰۤرَت ْذِا اْوُفِقُو ىٰلَع ْمِهِّبَر١ؕ َلاَق َسْيَلَا اَذٰه ِّقَحْلاِب١ؕ اْوُلاَق ىٰلَب َو اَنِّبَر Now, let the critic say whether these Quranic verses employ the past tense or the future tense? And if it is the past tense, is their message related to the past or the future? As a punishment for your falsehood, it is enough that you have not attacked me, but have attacked the Holy Quran. You seem to think that the rules of grammar that you know are unknown to God, which is why He erred in so many places and used the past tense where the future tense should have been used. 1. And the inmates of Heaven will call out to the inmates of Hell: ‘We have indeed found what our Lord promised us to be true. Have you too found what your Lord promised you to be true?’ They shall say: ‘Yes. ’ ( S u rah al-A‘r a f, 7:45) [Publisher] 2. Perished be the two hands of Ab u Lahab, and so perish he. His wealth and what he has earned shall avail him not ( S u rah al-Lahab, 111:2–3). [Publisher] 3. And if you could only see when they are made to stand before the Fire! ( S u rah al-An‘ a m, 6:28) [Publisher] 4. And if you could only see when they are made to stand before their Lord! He will say, ‘Is not this second life the truth?’ They will say, ‘Yea, by our Lord. ’ ( S u rah al-An‘ a m, 6:31) [Publisher]
