B AR Ā H Ī N-E-A H M ADIY YA — PART F IV E 126 be the day of reckoning. And, just as I have stated, Almighty God’s saying: قل عندی شھادۃ من الل ّٰ فھل انتم مؤمنون [Say, ‘I have with me proof from Allah, then will you not believe?’] here provides a much more powerful testimony than that contained in the verse of S u rah Y u suf: 3 َو َدِهَش ٌدِهاَش ْنِّم اَهِلْهَا It goes without saying that human testimony cannot be at par with the testimony of God. And the testimony is that the Knower of the Unseen called me Y u suf twenty-five years ago and thus likened his situation to mine. And He used specific words that revealed the truth of the matter. For instance, He said on my behalf: 4. ِّبَر ُنْجِّسلا ُّبَحَا َّيَلِا اَّمِم ْۤيِنَنْوُعْدَي ِهْيَلِا which shows that it refers to some future event. Everyone who attacks me in effect puts his hand into a blazing fire, for He attacks not me but the One who sent me. It was He who said: اِنِّی ْ مھین ٌ من اراد اھانتك. 3. ‘And a witness of her household bore witness’ ( S u rah Y u suf, 12:27). [Publisher] 4. ‘O my Lord, I would prefer prison to that to which they invite me’ ( S u rah Y u suf, 12:34. [Publisher]
