Sub-Footnote Number Four 439 افك افتری. و ما سمعنا بھذا فی اٰبائنا االولین ولقد كرمنا بنی 1 و (اال) ه و قالوا ان ون اٰیۃ للمؤمنین. ام ک م كذٰلك لی ه م و اصطفینا ه ادم وفضلنا بعضھم علی بعض. اجتبینا و ہللا عجیب. كل یوم ه ھف و الرقیم كانوا من اٰیاتنا عجبا. قل ک حسبتم ان اصحاب ال ا سلیمان و جحدوا بھا و استیقنتھا انفسھم ظلما و علوا. سنلقی فی ه و فی شان. ففھمنا ه یم ه فروا ان كنتم مؤمنین. سالم علی ابرا ک قلوبھم الرعب. قل جآءكم نور من ہللا فال ت یم مصلّٰی. ه صافیناہ و نجیناہ من الغم تفردنا بذٰلك. فاتخذوا من مقام ابرا And they will say: ‘This is a falsehood that he has invented. We have not heard of any such thing among our elders, that is, among the auliy a’ of past. ’ The fact is that all children of A dam [Adam] have not been created equal; God has exalted some of them above others and has chosen them from among others. This indeed is the truth, so that it might be a Sign for the believ- ers. Do you imagine that Our wonders are confined to A sha b- e-Kahf [the People of the Cave] only? No, rather, Allah pos- sesses wonders since eternity and His wonders never come to an end. Everyday He is in a magnificent state. Thus, We taught those Signs to Sulaim a n [Solomon], meaning my humble self. People denied them wrongfully, though their hearts believed [in them]. So, We shall soon strike terror in their hearts. Say, Light has descended from Allah, so do not reject it if you are believers. Peace be on Ibr a h i m. We purified him and deliv- ered him from grief. We Ourself have done this; therefore you should follow in the footsteps of Ibr a h i m. Meaning that, follow the true path of the Noble Messenger saw which is no longer clearly recognized by many people in this age—some of them have become slaves of the letter like the Jews while some others have 1. The word اال (which has been inserted in brackets in the Arabic text above) had been inadvertently omitted by the scribe in the first sentence of this reve- lation. The Promised Messiah as has quoted the same revelation in Arba'in, no. 2, 1 st edition, p. 7, R uha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 17, p. 353, with reference to Bar a h i n- e-Ahmadiyya, and the word اال is included there.
