Footnote Number Eleven 133 زاگنر ااشرےت د �ی�ا�ی� ن � ات زار اعقش زدتس د ربآ�ی� ہچ Unless the Beloved gives a sign, How can an ardent lover make any move at all? دخا ع ی مط� و رسشک در رفق �ی�دا چ � وشد اسچں ش � بحکم � زج How can the distinction between a rebel against God and His obedient servant Be made except by the commandment of God? ل مکح وچں مکح اتس ی م� � ت � رشط سپ ووجدش وجب تسخن اے تسم The prerequisite of obeying a command is the presence of the command. O you, who are out of your mind, first look for the command. ذگبار ٔیِ طلغ دوع ی ں � ا ورہن دادار آں م ُک � ر ز�ی� رَوَم ہك Or give up your false claim that, ‘I follow the commandment of God, the Just. ’ رفامں ى وخد از �ی�دن ش رتا� وخد آں ہن مکح دخاتس اے اندان O ignorant one! A command fabricated out of your own wishes Cannot be a divine command. ہن رعبف اتس و ےن لقعب روا دخا مکح ش � ی � ّنظ وخ وشد ہك Neither common usage nor reason permits That your own conjecture should be taken as a divine command. رفومد او ہك وبد آں او مکح زود ن ں ُ ک سپ وچ رفومد وخد ہگن His is the command which He Himself issues, And you ought to obey it immediately when it is given. دخا ویح وبثت دش یں � از ہك اج یں � ز ش � ّم ل � م رضورت دش When it is proven that a revelation is from God, The need of revelation also stands proven.
