Footnote Number Eleven — First Objection 69 ی وخر� وخد ذغاےئ ِ او لضفب ات ی رپور� ِ وخد نت و ی ن ام� زدنہ So that, by His grace, we may eat our food, And remain alive and nourish ourselves. لُطف ِ امت ی رَب نت رکد ا� آہکن ےک دنک رحموم اجں را از رکم He who has bestowed so much of His favours on our bodies, How can He deprive our souls? دی ر ن ی ِ ا� ذجب تس رفاقن ٴ ویح ات ربدنت از وخدی در ےب وخدی The Quranic revelation is the divine force of attraction, Which draws you away from your self-conceit and towards spirituality. ِ اہنں ِ رشک داعف رقآں تسہ اشنں �یایب ازو رامہ رماد ات The Quran cleanses you of hidden traces of polytheism, So that you may witness God’s sign from Him directly, و انز ن ی ب ات ریہ از ربک و وخد � ِ اکراسز ِ لضف ونممن اتوشی So that you may be rid of arrogance, self-conceit, and pride, And you may be grateful to Allah the Almighty for His favours. آ�ی دش رمح ات ربک از وش دُور اب�ی دش ےم دنبیگ نک دنبیگ Refrain from arrogance so that He may show you mercy, Submit to Him, for submission is what He requires. اکبتس و ِ زجع رُمدن در زدنیگ رہ ہک ااتفدتس او آرخ اخبتس [True] life is in dying [to yourself ], in meekness and in crying [before God]; Those who die in the path of God, they alone will have [spiritual] life. یات � ِ آب ی ت �یس� ِ �ن اجم تسہ ی د تس اُو ر َ تس از اممت ش رہ ہک ون� The cup of self-negation is in fact the water of life; Whoever drinks from it is delivered from death.
