They have therefore taken the stand that in this respect he was like Jesus Christ. 151 Some people think that the Ahmadis are alone in attributing Godhead and Divinity to Bah a ’ull a h. But this is not so. Here three examples shall suffice. Shaikh Rash i d, Editor Al-Man a r , Egypt, writes: "The Bah a ’ i s are a culmination of the B at in i sect who worship Bah a ’ull a h, believing in his Godhead and Divinity. The Bah a ’ i s have their own separate sharia" 152. A well-known Christian scholar, Ily a s Khadur i , writes: "In numerous places in his book Bah a ’ull a h has by implication, and also openly claimed Godhead and Divinity for himself. " 153 Maulaw i San a ull a h of Amritsar, who was a bitter opponent of the Ahmadiyyah Movement, insisted for a long time that Bah a ’ull a h claimed prophethood. But at last he had to admit that Bah a ’ull a h, according to his followers, had claimed Godhead and Divinity.
