In the Holy Quran, the Book of Allah, it is definitively settled that Hadrat ‘ I s a , peace be on him, has died. It is strange that while God Almighty has made the death of Hadrat ‘ I s a conspicuously clear in many places in the Holy Quran, you still speak of him descending from the heavens! Are the accounts mentioned in the Holy Quran abrogated now as well? This is that very Quran upon hearing just one verse of which, a hundred thousand Companions [of the Holy Prophet] bowed their heads in submission, and without any hesitation they accepted that all the Prophets prior to the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, such as Prophet ‘ I s a and others had died. These were writ- ten for the guidance of P i r Mehr ‘Al i Sh a h and members of the Ghaznavi Jam a ‘at—Maulaw i ‘Abdul Jabb a r, ‘Abdul W ah id, ‘Abdul H aqq, and others. You can read these booklets within two hours with full concentration and deliberation.
