Number Four 183 Appendix When the original text in Hebrew of the prophecy, given herein below, was seen, we learned that it is clearly stated in it that a false prophet would be destroyed. Therefore, we deem it appropriate to write that prophecy here in the Hebrew words. And it is this: 1 Deuteronomy 18:18–20 נָבִיא אָקִים לָהֶם מִֶּקֶרֶב אֲחֵיהֶם na-vî ’a-qîm la-hem miq-qẹ-rev ’ă-hê-hem A Prophet I will raise up for them from among their brothers ֹוָך ּכָמ וְנָתַּתִי דְבָרַי ּבְפִיו וְדִּבֶר ka-mō- kha wə-na-tat-tî də-va-ray bə-fîv wə-dib-ber like you, and I will put My words in his mouth and he shall speak אֲלֵיהֶם ַּוֶּנּוּּאֵת ּכָל אֲֶׁשֶר ּ. אֲצ וְהָיָה ֶׁש הָאִי ’ă-lê-hem ’êt-kol-’ă-šher ’ăt-sav- ve-nu və-ha-yah ha-’îšh. to them all whatso- ever that I shall say to him and it shall come to pass that man 1.
