130 Look, at one place Almighty Allah says: 1 ْدَق َباَخ ِنَم ىٰرَتْفا۰۰ Meaning that one who forges a lie against Allah shall perish frus- trated. And then at another place He says: 2 َو ْنَم ُمَلْظَا ِنَّمِم ىٰرَتْفا ىَلَع ِهّٰللا اًبِذَك ْوَا َبَّذَك ٖهِتٰيٰاِب Meaning, who could be more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or gives the lie to His Signs? Now, it is evident that God did not leave those people alive who rejected the Word of God during the time when the Prophets of God appeared, and He destroyed them with terrible and painful punishments. Behold! What was the end of the people of Noah; the people of ‘ A d, Thamud, and Lot; and Pharaoh and the Makkan enemies of our Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him? Thus, when the people who rejected [the Prophets] received punishment in this very world, then how can the one who imputes falsehood to God escape punishment, whose name is mentioned first in this verse? Can the treatment meted out by God to the truthful and the liars be the same? And is there no punishment of God for those who attribute lies to Him? 3 اَم ْمُكَل َفْيَك َنْوُمُكْحَت۰۰ 1.
