A pproaching the West—7 on the East only, and the wisdom of the world on Europe and America. All the Prophets from the first to the last have appeared in Asia, and spiritual men other than the prophets who attained nearness to God have also been confined to the Eastern peoples. But God wishes now to extend His beneficence to the West. (Iz ā lah Auh ā m, p. 516) Ḥ a ḍ rat A ḥ mad’s vision was fulfilled by the fact that first his writings did reach the West in his life time, and later his own son and successor, Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā Bash ī r-ud-D ī n Ma ḥ m ū d A ḥ mad, Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ II (may All ā h be pleased with him) came to London in 1924 and delivered a speech inviting the West to accept Isl ā m. Later, Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā N āṣ ir A ḥ mad, Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ III (Allah’s mercy be on him), came to London several times and addressed the Western nations. Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā Ṭā hir A ḥ mad (Allah’s mercy be on him), Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ IV, migrated to UK in 1984 and made London his headquarters. He also established MTA (the Muslim Television A ḥ madiyya)—a satellite transmission system that spreads the message from London to the entire world every day of the year! In 2003, Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā Masroor A ḥ mad (may Allah strengthen him with His mighty support) was elected to be the Fifth Khal ī fah, and the location where the election took place was London! In addition, Isl ā m International Publication Ltd. is now constantly producing a profusion of Isl ā mic literature from United Kingdom. Plans to spread the true message of Isl ā m among Europeans and Americans were discussed and implemented by Ḥ a ḍ rat A ḥ mad (peace be on him) by himself. He initiated
