A Review of the Pakistani Government’s “White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam [ 35 ] The kind of love with Muslims and the Islamic world which have been shown by Mirz a Ma h m u d Ahmad of Qadian is hard to find anywhere else. When one hears the truth from the newspapers that were devoted to oppose the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jam a ‘at, despite all hatred, it is really enjoyable—for this is what is known as proof. Therefore, I will read out one of the refer- ences in this context. There used to be a newspaper of Majlis-e-A h r a r called Zamzam which was devoted to the opposition of Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jam a ‘at. This newspaper was impressed by all the efforts that Hadrat Mu s le h -e-Mau‘ u d ra put forth before partition regarding the dangers to Egypt’s interests. The paper writes on July 19, 1942: Under the present circumstances the Islamic sense of honour that Khalifah has shown for Egypt and Hij a z- e-Muqaddas is appreciable without any doubt. And showing such courage they have truly represented the emotions of the Muslims. Behold, they found that only an Ahmad i truly represented the interests of Muslims. The leader of Ahmad i s was con- sidered to be the best representative. By the grace of God, the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jam a ‘at has always remained first while serving the Muslims.
