God says: it is as binding on Me as it is on you. I promise that I will continue to keep this covenant as long as you keep yours. The Reward for Keeping the Covenant So far we have discussed the punishment of violation of covenants, now we turn to another aspect which is the reward for those who never violate their covenants. Addressing such faithful people, God says in S u rah al-Ra‘d: Those who fulfil Allah’s pact, and break not the covenant;
