This is expressed beautifully in the verse of an Urdu poem by Hadrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad ra , Khalifatul Masih II: O Lord, bestow Your blessings, or test us with trials, Contented and at peace are we, in that wherein lies Your will. Also we find in the Holy Quran a verse discussing the same subject in a different way: Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear, nor shall they grieve— (S u rah Y u nus; Ch. 10: V. 63) It is a boundless bounty of Allah that we, belonging to the Ahmadiyya Community, are a people who remain always content with the will of Allah; because this is the very essence of the philosophy of Allah’s protection extending to His humble servants—if people are completely content with all the manifestations of Allah’s will they become the living
