— Part I 4 Foreword to the First Edition of the First Part Ever since its formation more than one hundred years ago, it has been customary for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to host an Annual Convention, which is attended by delegates from all over the world. In December 1982, the Annual Convention was held in Rabwah, Pakistan. On that occasion, Hadrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the then Supreme Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, delivered an Urdu address entitled 'Adl, Ihsan aur Ita'i Dhil-Qurba'. This book developed out of that speech. In addition to translating the Urdu speech into English, various themes have been expanded upon, which time had not permitted in the original address. The Holy Quran is quoted extensively and many Arabic words have been retained in this book. A Glossary of Terms is included which gives an English rendering of Arabic words used. Publishers
