vi Note from the Editor Since its inception, Al-Nahl has been publishing stories of seekers after truth who found solace in the lap of Isl ā m by joining the community of Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā Ghul ā m A ḥ mad (1835-1908), the Promised Messiah and Mahd ī (peace be on him). A ḥ madiyyah Muslim Community was founded by the Promised Messiah in 1889. The first twenty stories published in Al-Na ḥ l have been collected in these pages. Though the stories have been revised for this book, we have kept bulk of the content. Pictures in this book are as they were first published in the pages of the magazine. The stories contain various Isl ā mic terms and expressions. We have added a glossary of these terms at the end for the convenience of the readers. Thanks are due to Anisa Bushra Salam Bajwa for her assistance in the design of the front cover.
