It seems absurd to believe that Satan, who is said to have deceived Eve in the form of a snake, at last compelled the Almighty to exhibit Himself on the cross in the form of His Son Jesus, instead of his being exhibited himself by Almighty God, in the form of a snake on the cross. Thus, the Christians make the Almighty fall and the deceiver, Satan, triumph. 10. The idea that by believing in the blood of Jesus a man will be saved and redeemed from the punishment of sin, is directly opposed to the following sayings of Jesus: (a) ‘But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
