Where Did Jesus Die? — Page 33

Chapter Two—The Judgment 33 Likewise, he could not answer the question that if Jesus had not been aided by his friends from where did he obtain the dress in which he reappeared to Mary Magdalene when she took him for the gardener? He had some clothes on. From where did this clothing come? His own garments had been taken by the sol- diers, and the grave clothes were in the tomb. Moreover, the two eyewitnesses ( Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus) who took the body and laid it in the tomb and saw what happened afterwards are not called by the plaintiff to be examined and the four written documents bear no record that the two believed that Jesus had risen from the dead. We have no option, therefore, but to dismiss his case, which we hereby do. (Signed) X, Y. (Signed) A, Z.
