WA S IYYAT RULES 42 INSTRUCTIONS MAJALIS M USI AN Under Rule 18 of Wa s iyyat Rules FORMATION AND MEMBERSHIP 1. A Majlis M usi an shall be established in each Jam a‘ at where there are three or more M usi s. 2. Every M usi shall be a member of the Majlis M usi an of the local Jam a‘ at. 3. The Secretary Wa sa ya shall be the Chairman of Majlis M usi an. 4. The tenure for the office of the Chairman of the Majlis M usi an shall be three years. 5. The Majlis M usi an shall have as many sectors as there are for the administration of the local Jam a‘ at. FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES NEW WA S IYYATS 6. It shall be the duty of the Majlis M usi an to motivate the members of the local Jam a‘ at for Wa s iyyat , endeavour to bring non- M usi members within the fold of Institution of Wa s iyyat and to constantly draw the attention of the members towards the booklet Al-Wasiyyat and the directives of the Khulaf a of the Jam a‘ at. 7. It shall be the duty of Majlis M usi an to process new Wa s iyyats , to guide prospective M usi s and to assist them in writing and executing the Wa s iyyat. 8. It shall be the duty of the Chairman of the Majlis M usi an to despatch without delay the Wa s iyyat after it has been
