WA S IYYAT RULES 10 Rule 35. At the time of granting approval to the Wa s iyyat of a prospective M usi , in addition to considering the pre- Wa s iyyat moral and spiritual conduct of the prospective M usi , due regard shall be paid to his pre- Wa s iyyat financial state of affairs with a view to ensure that the element of outstanding financial sacrifice and the spirit and purpose of Wa s iyyat is not in any way defeated. Rule 36. After receipt of the Wa s iyyat in his office, the Secretary Majlis Karpardaz shall obtain a detailed opinion from the Legal Adviser of S adr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Pakistan as to the Wa s iyyat validity etc. so that there is no error, defect or weakness in the said Wa s iyyat which may prejudice or create any legal complication or difficulty on the recovery of any property or income which ensures under the Wa s iyyat. Rule 37. The Legal Advisor shall examine in detail every Wa s iyyat in its entirety in the light of Rule 36 and suggest ways and means to remove the defects if any. Rule 38. Before a Wa s iyyat is placed for acceptance it shall be obligatory to have it published and notified in at least two newspapers. (Appendix to Al-Wasiyyat Clause 2) Rule 39. The Secretary Majlis Karpardaz shall be responsible to see that every Wa s iyyat is finalised within six months of its execution, failing which he shall report the matter to Majlis Karpardaz with detailed reasons of such failure. Rule 40. Having completed the formalities relating to attestation and legal advice and having satisfied itself in all respects the Majlis Karpardaz shall submit the Wa s iyyat to S adr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Pakistan for acceptance.
