Translation: 1. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. 2. Has there come to thee the news of the overwhelming calamity? 3. Some faces on that day will be downcast; 4. Toiling, weary. 5. They shall enter a blazing Fire, 6. And will be made to drink from a boiling spring. 7. They will have no food save that of dry, bitter and thorny herbage, 8. Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 9. And some faces on that day will be joyful; 10. Well-pleased with their past striving, 11. In a lofty Garden, 12. Wherein thou wilt hear no vain talk.
