Qa‘dah 223 that we humbly offer to Him in the hope that it is worthy of being accepted. ________ O _________ َ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِين َّ نَا ٱغۡفِر ۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَي َّ رَب Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the day when the reckoning will take place Hadrat Khal ī fatul Mas ī h I V rta said, Here, a balance has been created. Where we prayed for our children, we have been reminded to pray for our parents as well. In َّ وَلِوَٰلِدَي (and my parents), we don’t pray for the establishment of S alāt because in many cases they have passed away. This is why we won’t find prayers for the establishment of their S alāt , but we will find prayers for their forgiveness.
