Qa‘dah 173 ِ ار َّ قِنَا عَذَاب َ الن َّ الٰۡخِرَۃ ِ حَسَنَۃ ً و ى فِ َّ َا حَسَنَۃ ً و ي نۡ ُّ الد ى ِ نَا ۤ اٰتِنَا ف َّ رَب Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire. نَا ٱغۡفِر ۡ لِي َّ ِرَب ل ۡ دُعَآء َّ نَا وَتَقَب َّ تِي رَب یَّ ِّ لَوة ِ وَمِن ذُر َّ ُ رَب ِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيم َ ٱلص َقُوم ُ ٱلۡحِسَاب ی َ َوۡم ی َ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِين َّ وَلِوَٰلِدَي My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! Do accept my prayer. Our Lord, grant forgiveness to me and to my parents and to the believers on the day when the reckoning will take place. After reciting one or more of these prayers, the Imam turns his face towards the right and says Assal ā mu ‘Alaikum wa Ra h matull ā h, i. e. peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, and then turns his face towards the left and repeats Assal ā mu ‘Alaikum wa Ra h matull ā h, to mark the end of the Prayer. ( S al ā t- The Muslim Prayer Book , pp. 52) ِ اَلسَّالَم ُ عَلَيكُم ْ وَرَحْمَة ُ هللا Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
