If my two announcements of 21 November 1898 and 30 November 1898 were read by even a child of limited ability, he would unmistakably recognise that these announce - ments did not contain any prophecy regarding the murder of any individual. Instead, all they contain is a supplication for God to humiliate the one who is a liar and a revelation of mine in this context. ✩ And it was for this reason that within my announce - ment of 21 November 1898, I also reproduced the announce - ment by Muhammad Husain, which was published in the name of Muhammad Bakhsh and Abul-Hasan of Tibet. My purpose in this was to show people that Muhammad Husain sought to humiliate me through his foul language and so I sought a verdict from God to disgrace, in the same manner, whomsoever of the two of us was a liar.
