120 in order to mislead those who live in distant lands. Whoever makes a study of the facts and the references to newspaper writings quoted above cannot fail to confess to a feeling of amazement at the following words of Maulawi Muhammad Ali: (i) "Much notice of the book does not seem to have been taken by the Ahmadiyya Community. " (ii) "But probably the contents of the book or some other leaflet on the same subject were brought to the notice of the late Maulawi Nuruddin Sahib then head of the Ahmadiyya Community, and after some correspondence between Zahiruddin and Maulawi Sahib, an announcement was made by the latter in the paper The Badr dated 11th July 1911 (this announcement has already been quoted at length some pages back and is itself sufficient disproof of Maulawi Muhammad Ali’s allegation) to the effect that as Muhammad Zahiruddin was promulgating new doctrines, he was not to be considered as having any connection with the Ahmadiyya Community.
