"In my opinion it ( Brahin-e-Ahmadiyya ) is a book the like of which has not up till now been produced in the history of Islam… and its author has proved himself such a loyal steadfast servant of Islam offering in its service his wealth, life, pen and tongue, that an example equal to his it is hard to find even among the early Muslims. If there is any one who is disposed to consider my words a mere oriental exaggeration, then I would request him to mention at least one book of like merit.
