15 a university passes a student based on their level of learning even without them being able to answer every single question, an individual can also attain salvation despite not following the divine law in its entirety, because they were able to create a capacity within themselves. Furthermore, similar to a student with higher marks passing with distinction, an individual that increases their capacity by following the edicts of the law is considered of a higher stature. IF SALVATION AND THE LAW ARE UNRELATED, WHY DO CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN STAGES OF SPIRITUALITY? Similarly, there are different stages leading to God Almighty and Christians also believe this; they differen- tiate between the prophets according to their status. The rank given to Abraham as in Christianity is not ascribed to any other prophet. However, if salvation is unrelated to conduct, then a person’s standing ought to be irrelevant. On the contrary Islam defines status through conduct. The Holy Qur’an says: َو ْنَم ْتَّفَخ َو ُنْزَوْلا ِذِٕىَمْوَي ُّقَحْل۟ا١ۚ ْنَمَف ْتَلُقَث ٗهُنْيِزاَوَم َكِٕىٰٓلوُاَف ُمُه َنْوُحِلْفُمْلا۰۰ 4 ۰۰ ٗهُنْيِزاَوَم َكِٕىٰٓلوُاَف َنْيِذَّلا اْۤوُرِسَخ ْمُهَسُفْنَا اَمِب اْوُناَك اَنِتٰيٰاِب َنْوُمِلْظَي 4 And the weighing on that day will be true.
