as vi honour Jesus as as a true prophet of God by proving that he was not accursed. He was unconscious when taken down from the cross and was placed in the sepulchre (a spacious tomb) where a potent ointment was applied to heal his wounds. Having recovered from his wounds, he travelled to other countries where many of his peo- ple, the Israelites, had settled. These far away Israelite tribes were known as the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Finally, Jesus as reached Kashmir where he eventually passed away after preaching the Injil [the Gospel] to the Israelites. In fact, there is a tomb in Kashmir which is believed to be the tomb of Jesus as. as is a book that was originally pre- pared by the members of the Children’s Book Committee. This Committee was appointed by Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih IV rta and worked under his direct supervision and guidance. May the Benevolent Lord bless their efforts and sacrifices in His cause. I would also like to express my gratitude to Maulana Ata-ul- Mujeeb Rashed, Imam of the London Mosque, for his efforts in reviewing the original publication, and to Ayesha Noor, Faraz Hussain, Khalil Malik, Naser-ud-Din Shams, and Abdul-Wahab Mirza for reviewing the current manuscript and providing valua- ble suggestions. May Almighty Allah bless them and their families for their respective contributions. Finally, it is my sincere hope and prayer that this booklet become a source of enlightenment welcomed by children, teach- ers, and parents alike. O Allah, let it be so.
