65 Glossary Ahl-e-Hadith or Ahl-e- H ad i th ( اَھْل ِ حَدِیْث ) The ones who give Hadith precedence over the Quran. Hadith or H ad i th ( حَدِیْث ) A collection of Islamic traditions containing sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa. Mujaddid or Mujaddid ( مُجَدِّد ) A reformer. Majruh or Majr u h ( مَجْرُوْح ) Susceptible to objections and thus not acceptable. Riwayat or Riw a yat ( رِوَایَت ) The chain of the narrators of a Hadith and its text (Matan) taken as a unit. Mujahid or Muj a hid ( مُجَاھِد ) The one who wages Jihad. Ghazi or Gh a z i ( غَازِی ) The one who is not martyred in a Jihad. Sihah Sittah or S i hah Sittah ( صِحَاح سِتَّہ ) The six au - thentic books of Hadith.
