Only law-bearing prophethood has ended. ( Al-Yaw a q i t wal-Jaw a hir , vol. 2, p. 35) Hadrat Syed ‘Abdul-Kar i m J i l a n i writes: With the advent of the Holy Prophet sa , law-bearing prophethood came to an end. The Holy Prophet sa was declared Kh a tamun-Nabiyy i n because he, and no other Prophet, brought the perfect law.
