A Review of the Pakistani Government’s “White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam [ 15 ] prophethood and then it was sealed. ( Khatmul- Auliy a ’, p. 341, published by Catholic Press, Beirut) Just ponder over the difference. Since the word ‘seal’ had been used, Im a m Tirmidh i says that after all the excellences had been combined, a seal was put upon them. This implies an end to those excellences. In contrast, the Prom- ised Messiah as says that combining of all excellences is a valid concept. But the idea that the Holy Prophet sa limited those excellences to himself is not correct; he combined them but did not stop their further dissemination. In this respect, the commentary by the Promised Messiah as regarding the following verse is worth reading: 5 Im a m R a z i writes in Tafs i r -e- Kab i r R a z i , vol. 6, p. 31: Intellect is the kh a tam (culmination) of everything. [Arabic proverb] Therefore, it is necessary for ‘ kh a tam ’ to mean the best. Don’t you realize that when our Prophet s a was declared Kh a tamun- Nabiyy i n , he was declared the best of the Prophets. ( Tafs i r-e-Kab i r R a z i , vol. 6, p. 31, under the verse, S u rah Ta h a , 20:26, by Im a m Muhammad Fakhr-ud- D i n R a z i ) 5. Then he drew nearer to God ; then he came down to mankind. ( S u rah an-Najm , 53:9). [Publisher].
