TRUE CHRISTIANITY AND HOW IT LEADS T O IS L A M 11 Jesus instructed his disciples to raise the dead: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils; freely ye have received, freely give”. (Matthew 10:8) Jesus also said: “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”. (Matthew 21:21 - 22) At another place Jesus very clearly said: “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”. (Matthew 17:20) Jesus even assured his believers that they could do greater deeds than those he did: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it’. (John 14:12 - 14) From the foregoing Biblical verses it follows that the physically dead have never been brought to life by anyone. If it were possible to do so, a believer in Jesus would be able to give life
