PRAYERS 43 partners. And I bear witness that Muhammad sa is His servant and His Messenger. Oh All a h , make me one of those who repent and make me one those who purify themselves. Prayer at the Time of Adh a n Hadrat Ab u Sa‘ i d Khudr i ra relates the Holy Prophet sa said, “Whenever one hears the Adh a n , he should repeat the words of the Mu’adhdhin. Hadrat ‘Umar ra relates that whoever repeats the words of Adh a n with sincerity of heart and at the words 2َ_ َ اﻟﺼَّﻠٰﻮ ََّ Á ة 2َ_ َ اﻟۡﻔَﻼَح ََّ Á (Come to s al a t come to prosperity)says َّ ﻻ َ ﺣَﻮۡل َ و َ ﻻ َ ﻗُﻮ ة اِﻻ َّ ﺑِﺎﻟﻠªّٰ (No one has the power or authority except All a h ). All a h will bestow paradise upon him. 52 Prayer after Adh a n Hadrat J a bir bin ‘Abdull a h ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa said, whoever listens to the Adh a n and prays in this way will deserve my intercession on the day of judgement. ّٰ َّ اﻟﻠ َّﻬُﻢ ِرَب ِﻫٰﺬِہ ِاﻟﺪَّﻋْﻮَة ِاﻟﺘَّﺎﻣَّﺔ ِوَاﻟﺼَّﻼَة ٰ اﻟْﻘَﺎﺋِﻤَﺔ ِ ا َت حمَُﻤَّﺪ ا ِ ن َ َاﻟْﻮَﺳِﻴﻠَﺔ ُوَاﻟْﻔَﻀِﻴﻠَﺔ ًوَاﺑْﻌَﺜْﻪ ﻣَﻘَﺎﻣ َّْﺎ َ حم ﻤُﻮد ُاﻟَّﺬِي و2ََﺪْﺗَﻪ َ. َاِﻧَّک ﻻَ ختُۡﻠِﻒُ املِﻴۡﻌَﺎد. 53 O Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer about to be observed, make Muhammad sa an intermediary. Grant him excellence and a lofty station. Establish him on "Maq a m-e-Ma h m u d" (a praiseworthy station), which You have promised him. You never break Your Promise.
