PRAYERS 62 ْ ْ ﺳُﺒ ﺤَﺎنَ اﷲِ وَحبَِﻤ ﺪِہ ْ َ ﺳُﺒ ْ ﺤ ْ ﺎنَ اﷲِ اﻟ ﻌَﻈِﻴ ﻢِ. 98 Holy is All a h with His attributes. Holy is All a h , the Most High. Hadrat Ab u M u s a Al-Ash‘ar i ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa asked him, “Should I not tell you of one of the treasures of Heaven?” On his reply in affirmative, he told him about this treasure of heaven: َ ْ ﻻ َﺣَﻮ ْلَ وَﻻَ ﻗُﻮَّة ْ اِﻻَّ ﺑِﺎﷲِ اﻟ ﻌَ_ِِّ اﻟ ْ ِ ﻌَﻈِﻴ ﻢ. 99 No one has the power or the authority except All a h , Who is the Most High, the Greatest. Hadrat Mu‘ a dh bin Jabal ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa advised him to recite this prayer in every s al a t and as per another narration after every s al a t : ِّْ ٰاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ اَﻋِىن _َ2 ْ ْذِک ْ ﺮِکَ وَ ﺷُک َ ﺮِکَ وَ ﺣُﺴ ﻦِ ﻋِﺒَﺎدَﺗِک. 100 O All a h , help me in remembering You, being grateful to You and performing exquisite worship. Hadrat Muslim bin Ha rith Taim i ra relates the Holy Prophet sa advised him to say this prayer seven times after the morning and the evening s al a t and he would be shielded from the Fire: ْ ِْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ اَﺟِﺮ ىن ﻣِﻦَ اﻟﻨَّﺎر. 101 O All a h , shield me from the Fire. Prayer for Poignancy in S al a t Hadrat ‘Abdull a h ra relates from his father, Hadrat ‘Umar bin Al-Kha tta b ra that the Holy Prophet sa used to recite this prayer: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ار ِْ زُﻗ ْىن 2َﻴ ِْ ِْ ﻨَني ْﻫَﻄَّﺎﻟَﺘَني ْ ،ﺗَﺸ ْ ﻔِﻴَﺎن ِ اﻟ ْ ﻘَﻠ ْ ﺐ َ ﺑِﺬُرُو ْ فِ اﻟﺪُّﻣُﻮ ْع ِ ﻣِﻦ ْ ﺧَﺸ ﻗَﺒ ،ََﺘِک[ ْ ْﻞَ اَن ْ ﺗَکُﻮ َّ نَ اﻟﺪُّﻣُﻮ ،و ْ عُ دَﻣًﺎ َْ اﻻَْﺟ ﺮَاسُ مج ﺮًا. 102 O All a h , grant me eyes which shed tears in fear of You and thus calm my heart, before the tears turn
