PRAYERS 23 (N u h 71:29) My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and him who enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and the believing women; and increase You not the wrongdoers but in perdition. 50. Prayer for the Guidance of Mankind At the time of building the Ka‘bah , the House of God, Hadrat Ibrah i m as (Abraham) offered a grand prayer for the guidance of mankind. A prayer about which the Holy Prophet sa said that he was the product of his father Ibrah i m as ’s(Abraham) prayer. 26 َرَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ْ و ْاﺑْﻌَﺚ ْ ﻓِﻴ ْﻬِﻢ ً رَﺳُﻮ ِّﻻ ْ ﻣ ْﻨْﻬُﻢ ﻳَﺘْﻠُﻮ ْا 2َٰﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢ َ اٰﻳ ُﺘِﻚ ٰوَﻳُﻌَﻠِّﻤُﻬُﻢ َ اﻟْﻜِﺘ َﺐ ْوَاحلِْﻜْﻤَﺔ ْ وَﻳُﺰَﻛِّﻴ َﻬِﻢ َإِﻧَّﻚ ْأَﻧْﺖ ُ اﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳ ْﺰ ُ احلَْﻜِﻴ ﻢ. (Al-Baqarah 2:130) And, our Lord, raise up among them a Messenger from among themselves, who may recite to them Your signs and teach them the Book and Wisdom and may purify them; surely, You are the Mighty, the Wise. 51. Prayer for Victory over Enemies God says about this prayer of Hadrat M u s a as (Moses) that he was informed of the acceptance of his supplication. He was advised to be steadfast and not follow the ignorant people. َرَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ٰإِﻧَّﻚ َ ا َﺗَﻴْﺖ ٗﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْن ْوَﻣَﻼََہ ً زِﻳ َّﻨَﺔ ً و ِأَﻣْﻮَاﻻ يف ِ احلَْﻴٰﻮ ة اﻟﺪُّﻧْﻴَﺎ ْرَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻟِﻴُﻀِﻠُّﻮ ْا ْﻋَﻦ ﺳَ;ِﻴ َ ﻠِﻚ ْرَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ٰاﻃْﻤِﺲ _َ2ْ ْأَﻣْﻮَاهلِِﻢ ٰوَاﺷْﺪُد _َ2ْ ْ ﻗُﻠُﻮ َﺑِﻬِﻢ ْﻓَﻼ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮ ّٰا ﺣَىت َﻳَﺮَوُا َْاﻟْﻌَﺬَاب ْ اﻻ َ ﻟِﻴ ﻢ. (Y u nus 10: 89) Our Lord, you have bestowed upon Pharaoh and his chiefs ornaments and wealth in this life. Our Lord, it results only in their leading people astray
