PRAYERS 93 ْ ْﻣِﻦ ْ 2َﺬَابٍ ىفِ اﻟﻨَّﺎرِ و2ََﺬَابٍ ىفِ اﻟ ﻘَرب. 181 We entered into dusk and the whole country entered into it for the sake of All a h. All praise belongs to All a h. There is none worthy of worship except Him. He is One and has no partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and all praise befits Him. He has might over everything. O my Lord, I beseech You to grant me goodness of this night and also blessings afterwards. I seek refuge in You from the mischief of this night and evil afterwards. O my Lord, I seek shelter from the evils of lethargy and arrogance. O my Sustainer, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the torment of the grave. Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa taught his Companions this prayer to recite at dawn: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ ﺑِکَ اَﺻ َْ ﺒَﺤ وَﺑِکَ حن ْ ﻨَﺎ ،وَﺑِکَ منَُﻮ ْ ﻴَﺎ َْ تُ،وَاِﻟَﻴ ُْ کَ امل ﺼِري. 182 O All a h , with You we entered into dawn. We live for Your sake and we will die for Your sake and we will ultimately return to You. An attendant of the Holy Prophet sa Hadrat Anas bin M a lik ra narrates that the Holy Prophet sa said that whosoever recites this prayer everyday, God forgives his sins of that day and if this prayer is recited at night, God forgives the sins of that night and frees him from the torment of the Fire. ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اَﺻ ْ ﺒَﺤ ْ ﻨَﺎ ﻧُﺸ ْ ﻬِﺪُک َ وَﻧُﺸ ْ ﻬِﺪ ُ محََﻠَﺔ َ ﻋَﺮ َ ﺷِک َ وَﻣَﻼَﺋِکَﺘَک َ وَمجَِﻴ ْ ﻊ ْ ﺧَﻠ ْ ﻘِکَ ﺑِﺎَﻧَّکَ اَﻧ ْ ﺖَ اﷲُ ﻻ َ اِﻟªَٰ اِﻻَّ اَﻧ ْ ﺖَ وَﺣ َّ ﺪَکَ ﻻَ ﺷَﺮِﻳ ْ کَ ﻟَکَ وَاَن ﻋَﺒ َ حمَُﻤَّﺪًا ْﺪُک َ وَرَﺳُﻮ ﻟُک. 183 O All a h , we entered dawn.
