PRAYERS 77 O the One, Who is the Best Listener and the Greatest Giver. Prayer of Yaumun-Na h r (Day of Sacrifice) Hadrat J a bir bin ‘Abdull a h ra saw the Holy Prophet sa on the day of sacrifice (10 th Dhul- H ijjah) standing at Qarnul-Tha‘lib and praying in these words: ْ ْ ﻳَﺎ Á َُّ ﻳَﺎ ﻗَﻴُّﻮ اِﻻ َّ اَﻧ َ ªٰم ُ ﻻ َ اِﻟ َ ﺖ َ ﺑِﺮ ْ ﺣ  ﻤﺘ ْ ْ اَﺳ ْ ﺘَﻐِﻴ ِْ ﺚ ُ ﻓَﺎک ﻔِىن ﺷَﺎىن ِ Lُﻠªَّ َ ْ وَﻻ ﺗَ¤ِﻠ ِْ ٰىن ْ اِىل ِْﻧَﻔ ºْ ٍْ ﻃُﺮ ﻓَﺔَ 2َني. 137 O the Living and Self Sustaining One, there is none worthy of worship except You. With Your mercy I seek Your help. Become sufficient for all my needs and do not entrust me to my evil self even for a moment. Prayer for Ramy-e-Jam a r (Stoning the Satan at H ajj) Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Umar ra said, 'All a hu Akbar' and recited the following prayer while throwing pebbles at Satan: ۡ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ اﺟ ُْ ﻌَﻠ ﻣَّرب ُ ﺣَﺠًّﺎª ْ َّ و و ْرًا ْ ذَﻧ ﻣَّﻐ ْ ﺒًﺎ ﻔُﻮ رًا. 138 O All a h , make this H ajj an accepted one and forgive the sins. Takb i r a t-e-‘ I dain Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Umar ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa advised them to repeat 'All a hu Akbar' , 'Al h amdulill a h' and 'L a il a ha illall a hu' , a great deal in the Ayy a mul-‘Ashr (first ten days of Dhil- H ajjah) 139 Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin Mas‘ u d ra used to say the following traditional Takb i r a t in this manner: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠªُّٰ اَک ُاَک ْ ربَُ اَﻟﻠªّٰ ْ ربَُ ﻻَ اِﻟªَٰ اِﻻ َّ اﻟﻠªُّٰ وَاﻟﻠªُّٰ اَک َْ ربَُ اَﻟﻠªُّٰ اَک ْ ربَُ وَﻟِﻠªِّٰ احل ُ ﻤ ﺪ. 140 All a h is the Greatest, All a h is the Greatest. There is none worthy of worship except All a h. All a h is
