PRAYERS 60 ْ َ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اَﻧ ْﺖ ُ اﻟﺴَّﻼَم ُ وَﻣِﻨ ک َ اﻟﺴَّﻼَم ،ْ ﺗَﺒَﺎرَک َْﺖ َ ﻳَﺎ ذَا ِ اجل ْ ﻼَل ِ وَاﻻِْک ﺮَام. 92 O All a h , You are the Peace. Only You can bestow peace. O Lord of Honour and Glory, You are full of blessings. Hadrat Mugh i rah bin Shu‘bah ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa used to recite these words three times after sal a m : َ َﻻ ªَّٰاِﻟ ُاِﻻ ْاﷲ وَﺣ ﺪَہ َ ْ ﻻ ﺷَﺮِﻳ ªَُک َ ﻟ ªَُْﻟ ْ امل ُ ﻠ ªََْک ُ وَﻟ ْ احل ِّ ﻤ ُﻞL ٰ _َ2 َ ﺪ ُ وَﻫُﻮ َْ Õ ْ ءٍ ﻗَﺪِﻳ ﺮ. 93 There is none worthy of worship except All a h. He is One and has no partner. His is the Sovereignty and all praise belongs to Him and He has authority over everything. Then he used to offer this prayer: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﻻ َ ﻣَﺎﻧِﻊ َ ملَِﺎ اَﻋﻄَﻴ ْ ﺖ َ وَﻻ َ ﻣُﻌ ْ × َِ ملَِﺎ ﻣَﻨَﻌ ﺖ َ وَﻻ َ ﻳَﻨ َْﻔَﻊُ ذَا ْ اجل َ ﺪ ِّ ﻣِﻨ َْ ک ُّ اجل ﺪ. 94 O All a h , there is none who can hinder the bounties that You bestow. Whatever You withhold there is none who can give and when compared to You, no great person’s greatness can help at all. Praising and Glorifying God Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra relates that some poor migrants came to the Holy Prophet sa and petitioned him that the rich people surpass them because as well as their acts of worship they are able to spend in the way of All a h. Holy Prophet sa said, "Should I not tell you something which would make you equal or even surpass those people who would come after you"? They answered, "O Prophet of God, please do.
