Therefore, since these people have been declared to be those very same people, it necessi - tates that they also have the same names. The reason is that names are for historical facts like organs are for the body from which they cannot be separated; and essential ‘organs’ [i. e. names] can - not be separated from their corresponding facts. Now consider well that, while addressing the Jews in the time of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, God Almighty said in clear and categorical terms that you indeed were the ones who committed such and such wicked deeds in the time of Moses as. Then how unjust and wrongful is it to sub - ject such a clear and explicit verse to various interpretations; but on the basis of a ha d i th alone, to bring Jesus as back to earth even though his death is clearly established from the Holy Quran. Dear friends! If it is indeed the way and practice of God Almighty that He brings people of the past back into the world, then the definitive text of the Holy Quran that repeatedly addresses the dead, and thus testifies to their lives, can never be legitimately ignored. But if, in this context, you fear that even though such meanings are not beyond the power of God Almighty, they nonetheless defy reason and, therefore, you incline towards such interpretations and meanings as are not contrary to reason, then the prophecy regarding the coming of Jesus must indeed be interpreted in the same way. Because if reason opposes the Jews of the past coming back to life in the blessed ministry of our Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, or if the returning of their souls by way of transmigration seems unrea - sonable, then why is it suggested that Hadrat Mas ih will return
