Is God Almighty not power - ful enough to have brought the Jews of the time of Moses as back to life in the time of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, by way of reincarnation, just as our opponents believe that He will bring back Hadrat ‘ I s a , in his physical body from the heaven at some point in time after hundreds of years? When it is accepted on the basis of unfounded sayings that the soul of Hadrat ‘ I s a will return to the world, then why and on what basis should it not be accepted that the souls of all those Jews mentioned in the manifest and explicit Quranic text had returned to the world in the time of the Holy Prophet, peace and bless - ings of Allah be upon him, by way of reincarnation? Look, God Almighty clearly says: 1 َو ْذِا ْمُتْلُق ىٰسْوُمٰي ْنَل َنِمْؤُّن َكَل ىّٰتَح ىَرَن َهّٰللا ًةَرْهَج ُمُكْتَذَخَاَف ُةَقِعّٰصلا َو ْمُتْنَا َنْوُرُظْنَت Meaning that, remember the time when you, and not someone else, said that we will not believe in you just because you ask us until we see God face-to-face. Then a thunderstorm struck you while you were watching. There is another subtle point in this verse; namely, that God Almighty did not declare the Jews [in the time of the Holy Prophet s as ] as the successors of the past generation. Rather, He addressed them as if they themselves were the Jews of old.
