In any case, a wise and just man cannot help accepting that deliberation upon the Quranic verses proves that the Muhammadan Khilafat must bear complete resemblance with the Mosaic Khilafat, as is clear from the word َمَا ك [ kam a —just as]. If these two dispensations resemble each other completely, then in the Latter Days, a time close to doomsday, a Khalifah like Hadrat ‘ I s a should appear to complete the argument through spiritual teachings and blessings, and not with the sword. And since Hadrat Mas ih appeared 1,400 years after Hadrat M u s a , it also has to be accepted that the Promised Messiah must appear in this age because God does not go against His promises. It should now be seen how many people have claimed to be the Promised Messiah in this age. Suppose, for example, that ten peo - ple from among the Muslims claim to be the Promised Messiah in this age, then one of them is definitely truthful and will be the Promised Messiah because the Signs declared by God call for the appearance of a true one. Now consider that out of the 200 million Muslims living in the lands of Syria, Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, India, etc. in these times which according to the Signs given the Holy Quran and Hadith is the age of the Promised Messiah, only one person has claimed to be the Promised Messiah. Rejecting this claimant who has appeared at his appointed time, therefore, amounts to the rejection of the prophecy itself. The coming of the Promised Messiah at the head of the four - teenth century is established in the a ha d i th, the Holy Quran, and the visions of Auliy a ’ with such proof that there is no need to write about it. A righteous one shivers at the rejection of a claim made at its proper time and place. Therefore, the first argument for the truthfulness of this humble one is that the time when this
