(APPENDIX) Muslim Leader's Prayer for U۔N۔O۔Following is an article culled from The Daily Record Balti- more which contains and comments on the message issued by The Supreme Head of the Ahmadiyya Community۔If all the members of U۔N۔O۔were to take this message to heart and act accord- ingly, the world would be changed for the better in no time۔One of the world's outstanding Moslem spiritual leaders has taken far-reaching action with reference to the nine-Point Program for Development of UN loyalty, sponsored by the United Nations Citizenship League۔The UNCL has its world headquarters in Baltimore and was founded in this city۔Point 3 of the program is: "Prayers for the U۔N۔in every house of worship throughout the UN whenever prayers offered for any member Government۔" The Khalif of the Ahmadiyya movement in Islam has prepared the following prayer for the United Nations: "O God! Guide us unto the right path, the path of those chosen ones of different nations who attained Thy plea- sure Make our resolve pure set right our intentions! Divest our thoughts of all evil and purge our thoughts from all weak- ness Enable us to sacrifice all our desires and wishes for the sake of the Truth I Grant us to establish true peace in the world just as Thine chosen ones did! Preserve us from all ac- tions which incure Thy wrath Save us from forgetting in the excitment of action obligations which devolve on us from Thee, and from losing the path which leads to Thee۔Ameen۔” The Khalif whose headquarters are in Rabwah, Pakistan, has also prepared a statement for the encouragement of the children of the world, with reference to the UNCL's ideal of "a generation the glorious like of which has never been seen on this earth before۔" (The Truth - Nigeria, July, 1952 Vol۔1 No۔8 Page 1) 1
