Law College, Lahore۔4۔12۔1947 My dear Hazrat Sahib, I listened with great interest and profit to your lecture on Pakistan yesterday۔It was full of new knowledge and breathed spirit of courage and hope۔I am sure, my fellow-listeners must have come away from it with the same feeling۔It was not merely a lecture, it was a timely warning to those who were accustomed to look at things from an entirely different angle۔In the course of the lecture, you were good enough to point out the insecurity of Pakistan's land and sea boundries۔It is absolutely so and it was also true, as you added that the manageable width of land-area constituting Pakistan was a point in our favour۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔I heartily endorse your suggestion of West Pakistan seeking a sea link with E۔Pakistan through the Lacadive and the Malidive Islands۔If we could not have a land-corridor let there be a calling-station enroute۔۔۔۔۔Yours in Islam, Sd/- Principal Law College۔
