THE ART OF TAJWID تجويد sa. The Holy Prophet has enjoined us to recite the Holy Qur'an with Tajwid and in a pleasing tone: زَيِّنُوالْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ zayyinul qur'ana bi aṣwātikum (Bukhari). The skill and the rules whose application makes the correct pronunciation of the. Holy Qur'an possible is the art of Tajwid. Tajwid means to recite every letter correctly from its Makhraj, with all its qualities.
