The Afghans called N a dir Kh a n, who was then in France, for assistance. N a dir Kh a n came, and Bachch a Saqq a was arrested and killed by him. N a dir Kh a n ascended the throne of Afghanistan. He dropped his traditional and national title of Kh a n and was now called ‘N a dir Sh a h. ’ Later, on November 8, 1933 a man named ‘Abdul-Kh a liq killed N a dir Sh a h amongst a large crowd in broad day light.
