1893 307 [Jang-e-Muqaddas, pp. 188–189, Statement dated June 5, 1893, R uha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 6, pp. 291–292] June 5, 1893 Maulav i ‘Abdul-Kar i m ra reported that: Today after returning from the debate the Promised Messiah as received a congratulatory revelation at about 1 p. m. which he immediately announced to those present. This was: That is [Arabic] Allah the Almighty congratulates you. Since A tham turned away from truthfulness and did not wish that the truth may be manifested, therefore within seven months of the Announcement of December 30, 1895 he died at Firozpur on July 27, 1896 in accordance with the prophecy of the Promised Messiah as. 359 [Arabic] He shall die before the expiry of eight.
