1891 235 conveyed to me that there is no one else in the whole world who bears the name Ghul a m Ahmad Qadi a n i. It has been the way of Allah with me that He, hallowed be His name, conveys some mysteries to me which are comprised in the value of the alphabet. [Iz a la-e-Auh a m, p. 186 , R uha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 3, p. 190] (B) God Almighty has disclosed to me through a vision that on the basis of the value of the letters comprised in s u rah al-‘A s r , the time from the birth of A dam to the blessed period of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—that is, including all 23 years of his prophethood—amounts to a total period of 4739 lunar years 264 , that is to say from the beginning of human civilization [ A dam] to the death of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
