1118 (80) Malik ‘Al i Ghul a m H usain, Muh a jir Kh a dimul-Mas ih [immigrant, in the service of the Promised Messiah as ] of D a r-ur-Ra h amat Qadian relates: The Promised Messiah as used to lie down in the mosque after the Maghrib Prayer and some children would massage him. [One day] my son Muhammad H usain was massaging him. The Promised Messiah as had his eyes closed at that time. Another boy of Patti named Jal a l, who was a Mughal, was also massaging him. Hadrat Umm-ul-Mu’min i n ra was sitting near. Suddenly the Promised Messiah as opened his eyes and said: [Urdu] Muhammad H usain will be Deputy Commissioner 1323 and Jal a l will put fodder before his horse. When Hadrat Umm-ul-Mu’min i n ra heard this, she went inside and felicitated my wife. [Register Riw a y a t-e- S a ha bah, vol. 11, p. 92] (81) Munsh i Z afar Ahmad of Kapurthala narrates that the Promised Messiah as said: Last night I saw in my dream that someone was reviling my God and I was greatly shocked thereat. The day after he narrated this dream, the son of Chaudhry [Rustam ‘Al i Kh a n] 1324 died. Since he was the only son, his mother 1323 Note by Hadrat Maul ana Jalal-ud-Din Shams ra : When Muhammad H usain was in Africa in his later life, the Deputy Commissioner of Nairobi went on leave for four months and he was appointed acting Deputy Commissioner.
