A PPENDIX 1069 February 18, 1900 Mirz a Khud a Bakhsh writes: The Promised Messiah [as] saw in a dream five days back that a man had been killed and this was fulfilled yesterday. There was a fight between two parties of landlords and one man was killed. [A sha b-e-Ahmad, by Malik S al ah -ud-D i n M. A. , part 2, p. 120 footnote, taken from Letter of Mirz a Khud a Bakhsh, February 23, 1900] March 1900 Hadrat Maulav i ‘Abdul-Kar i m ra writes that the Promised Messiah as received the revelation: The Promised Messiah as gave very elegant explanation of this. In summary, it means that: [Arabic] The eating of that which is lawful and neat dress are the insignia of a person’s good sense. [A sha b-e-Ahmad, by Malik S al ah -ud-D i n M. A. , part 2, p. 444] April 11, 1900 ‘Az i z D i n narrated through I d a Sahib gumh a r 1273 of Kandailah that (after performing the ‘ I d Prayers in Aq sa Mosque) the Promised Messiah as made a drawing of a minaret on a piece of paper and said: God has directed me to have a minaret like this one constructed.
